Clifford Ross

Updated: Mar 5

An art event that has never left my memory was an installation of art by Clifford Ross at the Parrish Art Museum on Long Island. His work ranges from photography, painting, sculpting all the way to lecturing in universities. Born October 15, 1952 in New York City, he knew early on what he wanted to do in life, earning a Bachelor of Arts in art and art history from Yale University.

His exhibition "Light | Waves" which was an animated, life-sized waved on the side of the museum which you could see from the road on water mill, has been etched into my mind since the first time of seen it. It reminds me of the beauty the ocean presents and how important it is we keep it that way for future generations to experience and appreciate. He inspires me to be even more driven in my mission to help keep our oceans clean.
