Brianna Fruean is a Samoan climate activist that has made an impact since she was 11yrs old!

Global Citizen Prize Winner Brianna Fruean is a Samoan climate activist, environmental advocate and an ambassador for the Together for the Ocean campaign.  This campaign unities 25 NGOs to hold governments accountable to their commitment to protect at least 30% of the ocean by 2030. 


At just 11, she became climate organization 350.org’s youngest country coordinator, and at 16, she became the youngest winner of the Commonwealth Youth Award.


“We as youth may not hold all the power or money in the world but we have something more valuable in my opinion and that is passion.”
