Kristal Ambrose also known as ‘Kristal Ocean’ is an environmental scientist studying marine debris and plastic pollution in The Bahamas. She is also the Founder & Director of Bahamas Plastic Movement, an independent non-profit organization funded from donations, subsidies and grants.
I love this initiative. It inspires activists worldwide to take action to protect their home and surrounding oceans! They have many tuition free educational programs focused on connecting Bahamian students to the marine environment and empowering them to understand the value of their voices and actions that can protect the ocean from plastic pollution.
